Most people will have their work done and will live very comfortably with this additional adornment for the rest of their lives. However, some people just fail to respect the fact that they are going to get older and their opinions and attitudes in life are going to change at the same time.

Never, ever get a tattoo to keep up with your mates. Indeed, do not allow anyone to pressurise you into having a tattoo done. If you are in two minds about body art - just do not do it in the first place.

Pay particular attention to where you have the tattoo sited. If you favour your neck, forearms or other equally difficult places to hide, realise that this work is always going to be on show and that you will never be able to run away from it.

If you are adamant that you would like ink placed in these areas, wait until you reach your thirties at least. This way you will definitely feel more confident and comfortable with having tattoos in these locations as you grow older.
