 We recognise that your goods are extremely valuable to your business and that our customers need financial protection and peace of mind. So at Why Wait Commercial Removals, we offer insurance designed specifically for moving.
We offer a range of insurance cover including:
Transit Insurance
This will cover your goods whilst they are in our care and control, protecting against loss or damage (subject to the policy terms and conditions).
Storage Insurance
If all or part of your removal includes going into our commercial storage facility, then all goods are covered by our storage insurance.
Both Transit Insurance and Storage Insurance (if required) will be included in your removal cost and detailed in your quotation. Our insurance summary document is available here.
We provide comprehensive, professional and wholly secure services backed by full insurance certification. We carry £10,000,000 in Employers Liability insurance cover and £2,000,000 in Public Liability insurance cover. As detailed in our terms and conditions our Regular Liability cover is up to £50,000 for your goods. Additional cover can be provided on request.
Declared Value of Goods
It is your responsibility to estimate the value of your goods. The value advised to insurers must be enough to replace your goods. It's always a good idea to verify the values with suppliers to ensure your current estimate is correct.
Our insurance policy is underwritten by certain underwriters at Lloyds who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and is operated under fully delegated authority by PoundGates & Company Ltd who are also authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
